Hotel La Torre - Castiglione del Lago

Charming hotel with friendly owners and great breakfast, but luggage storage was limited.

Perfectly pleasant stay, would recomand!

The breakfast is freshly prepared, and the location is BEST POSSIBLE near to shops and Resturant, Castiglion Fiorentino and the other over-rated tourist places.

The rooms were fairly quiet, well presented and bright. The bed was great, used free WiFi and a hair dryer. Central location right by the ferry, both Umbria and Southern Tuscany and the historic village centre, it was in a really interesting area. Besides, a beach-themed lodging was 2 km away from the property. Everything was pleasant, I recommend.

Had beautiful 4 nights in this hotel that's why I appreciated that. The staff were outstandingly accommodating, the breakfast was superb with a lot offood. It had amazing and incredible location, close to both Umbria and Southern Tuscany, the centre of historic Castiglione del Lago, and Resturant.

The hotel is centrally located, the staff are very friendly and helpfull.

The breakfast was a good highlight, with a variety of pastries and strong coffee that set us up for a wonderful day of exploring.

We encountered a frequent internet connectivity issue , quite frustrating, especially when trying to plan our outings.

Wonderful ambiance with charming decor and the best pastries for breakfast (seriously, lovely). The staff were engaging, suggesting amazing spots to visit around town.

One minor issue was the occasional noise from nearby dining areas that interrupted the tranquility at times.

The staff and mangement was very friendly. Breakfast good. Nice location in the middle of the old town.

We got a room with a bidet. The location was comfy and ideal, in a pedestrianised area, and the bed great. In the evening we visited Ever Green Restaurant, set next to the hotel.

Internet dropped often while the charm of the hotel was good.

No Lift. No savouries for breakfast

Right in the center of the old town, not difficult to find. Staff very friendly, and always available for any questions we had

Parking is nearby, not at the hotel. Only an issue if you are not able to walk far. We did not have a problem with this.

Charming decor enhances the stay. Really good breakfast selection, especially the pastries and strong coffee.

Internet connectivity issues plagued the stay, with frequent drops forcing reliance on mobile hotspots. Access via the steep staircase could pose challenges, especially for those with mobility concerns.

It is in the castle on the hill. Really. Small place, on the main street, it is good for one-two nights stay.

No english when some staff were there. No wifi, no internet nearby. Can be loud sometimes with shops and everything under the windows.
